Lightroom Fun and Surreal Life
My friend Doug Stoeckicht and I went to this park in University Place and shot around. He had been there earlier that day and I wanted to check it out for future shoots. I went into this adventure deciding to have some fun with the intention to push Adobe Lightroom to its limits. I am not usually a guy who likes fancy photo effects, in fact I hate them. I know hate is a strong word, but I am really a purist. I couldn’t resist the look of these photos though. The park is surreal enough as it is, but the way I edited these images adds to it. I feel a little like Ingmar Bergman… I am so existentialist! Haha! Well enjoy, and let me know what you think!

Nice. I think you made the effects work for you without going overboard.
This place is in UP, you say? I don’t think I’ve ever seen it. Looks enticing. Maybe I’ll have to go explore.
